Happy Friday! We are in the home stretch leading up to Spring Break. Next week will be a busy one with our last field trip and the marathon.
We are almost finished reading Peter Pan and Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens in ELA. We have been finding the meanings of unknown words and comparing the stories to see how they are similar and different. We will finish up both stories next week and explore the central messages.
In math we continued learning about equivalent fractions and began exploring comparing fractions. We are learning to use models like area models and number lines to help us. Next week we will continue with comparing and introduce fractions greater than 1.
We wrapped up our solar system unit this week with a fun Kahoot game today. Students learned all about the moon, including the phases. amd shadows. We will begin learning about earth's landforms and water next week.
